While the iPhone already has a wealth of useful/cool apps, the upcoming Palm Pre has maybe a handful. Not to worry though. In the spirit of other similar events, BarCamp, SuperHappyDevHouse, and MacHack, and the original iPhoneDevCamp, some smart folks have put together preDevCamp. The goal is to get developers, designers and testers together to create new apps for the Pre as well as port existing linux and web based apps to the webOS platform. Registration is based on geographical location so this aims to be a worldwide event. The event is planned for the week after the Palm Pre is released.
